Brazilian Business Partners has two Managing Partners, Johan Fager and Peter Rowland. They are both senior consultants, with many years of experience from management consulting and from Brazil.

Johan Fager

Johan Fager, who is Swedish, holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration (civilekonomexamen) from the Stockholm School of Economics (Handelshögskolan i Stockholm). After graduating, he joined the Swedish-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in São Paulo as an Analyst. He then went on and worked for several years as a Management Consultant for AT Kearney, both in Brazil and in Sweden. He left AT Kearney to take up a position as Marketing Director for Tess, a major Brazilian mobile-phone operator, before returning to the Swedish-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce as its Managing Director. Before founding Brazilian Business Partners, he held the position as Managing Director for Oriflame Mexico.

Peter Rowland

Peter Rowland, who is Swedish, holds a PhD in International Economics from the London Business School, and an MSc in Economics and Business Administration (civilekonomexamen) from the Stockholm School of Economics (Handelshögskolan i Stockholm). He has several years of experience from management consulting, having worked first at The Boston Consulting Group in London, then at McKinsey & Company. During his time at McKinsey, he covered mainly the financial sector, and worked in several different countries, including Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, the United States, Hungary and the United Arab Emirates. Peter Rowland has also worked in investment banking, for BNP Paribas both in London and New York, and in central banking, as an economic advisor to the Central Bank of Colombia (Banco de la República) in Bogotá.
